INEOS Refining produces both regular and premium grades of gasoline in both summer and winter formulations.

Specifications for fuel products are becoming ever more stringent. By 2009, gasoline is expected to have to comply with a 10 parts per million (ppm) maximum sulphur specification in the European Union. This constitutes a significant reduction from the 50 ppm of sulphur currently permitted by European Union gasoline specification. To comply with these stringent specifications, refineries must make expensive technology upgrades.

INEOS Refining currently supplies approximately 3.8 million Tonnes per annum of gasoline predominantly into the European market.
