The Lavéra refinery’s customers are located in a broad geographic region, and therefore most of the refinery’s off-take is shipped through pipelines. The rest is transported by ship, road, and rail. Lavéra benefits from its ability to export both to continental Europe and other Mediterranean markets, including the Middle East and north Africa. This site benefits from a superior logistics infrastructure, which permits it to supply the majority of its customers directly via pipelines linking it to Germany, Switzerland and the primary hinterland of France.
