Our refineries are physically integrated with petrochemical plants located at the same sites and are unusual by European standards in that both combine a hydrocracker (HC) with an fluidised catalytic cracker (FCC). The combination of these two units permits us to manufacture light, low sulphur gasoline and bias production towards middle distillates, principally diesel, in-line with market demand.
